Amanda Burton

Amanda Burton is the founding director of Green Shoots Communications and has 17 years’ communications, marketing and publishing experience, primarily in the financial services and technology sectors.
 
Amanda delivers strategic PR and marketing communications to a wide range of clients including DIMA, FINEOS, HSBC Insurance, Paladin, Russell Group, Price Forbes and RiIG.

Amanda has also worked in a business development capacity for Business Process Outsourcer, Xchanging and as a PR consultant to a number of financial services and technology companies.  She started her career in the publishing sector where she worked for The Independent and leading trade publications including Lloyd’s List; Insurance Day and Global Reinsurance.

Amanda is a skilled facilitator and workshop leader, a graduate of the University of Lincoln, BA Honours and holds a Diploma in Administrative Management.

Janet Barnes

Having started out in PR nearly 20 years ago and over the past 9 years having held marketing managerial positions for businesses in the Voice & Data industry with annual turnovers from £3M to £50M, Janet’s core expertise centres around telephone sales, team recruitment and management, she also has experience in CRM for users in the Customer Care, Marketing and Sales Departments equipping her with improved knowledge and capability in sound business process.  

Additionally, Janet has experience in Exhibition planning and deployment at large venues in London, such as Earl’s Court and Olympia enabling her project planning and management skills to come to the fore. Janet focuses on results-driven marketing activities, whether the activity focuses on customer service, marketing or sales enhanced performance.

Since creating Profit Development Ltd in March 2010, the business has catered for all sized businesses in the private and public sector and has supported various telemarketing campaigns for clients based in London and South East.

Janet believes the key attributes necessary to succeed, whether you are a Manager of a department, business owner or telemarketer, is the willingness to learn, make mistakes along the way, perfect and learn some more. You’re not beat until you give up!

Claire Jarrett is an AdWords Professional and author of “Successful Google Adwords Strategies”, published in 2009.  She is the owner of PPC and SEO agency MarketingByWeb.  Claire is passionate about helping small businesses succeed using PPC and  works with clients from budgets of £15 to £1000 per day.  She has a variety of clients throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world in market sectors from accounting to pet supplies!  Claire is also the number one “AdWords Trainer” in Google worldwide and runs both AdWords and SEO courses in Bristol, London and onsite anywhere in the world.

Mitch has a passion for making development and change happen, often within multi-functional and multi-cultural environments, supported by thirty years experience in managing, designing and implementing award winning change and business improvement solutions. Success has been achieved by combining real business management experience with the application of appropriate techniques such as Six Sigma, Business Process Reengineering and Employee Engagement as well as a hands-on in approach to coaching, training and mentoring.

An MA in Change Management and qualifications in Business Research, NLP, Programme/Project Management and coaching have underpinned a desire to help both individuals and organisations change and develop and ultimately meet their goals and objectives.

Nicky Murray

Nicky MurrayNicky currently helps organisations improve business performance, drawing upon her 15 year+ expertise and experience in Brand, PR and Marketing, Business Strategy Communication and buy-in, Change Management, and Engagement.  She has notably supported companies in effectively communicating the business strategy message with a clarity that promotes a depth of understanding to enable an alignment of behaviours with it for real and lasting change.
